Enroll this Mac

Two steps — the second is easy to miss.

Tap Download profile. iOS will say it downloaded and then appear to do nothing — that is expected.
Open Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, tap the downloaded profile, then tap Install.

You will be asked for your device passcode. Once installed, your IT team can manage this device's settings, apps and security.
